Four years, a first building, and what comes next.
Our building in La Chaux-de-Fonds was our first, and our school. After four years of owning and running it, we are reaching the point where it is natural to move on to the next step.
This building taught us everything: choosing and keeping a property manager honest, getting through a storm and two years of discussions with insurers, renovating, re-letting, and above all understanding what it means to be responsible for seven households’ homes. It has served its purpose as a learning ground. When the time comes, we want to hand it on to someone who will look after it and respect its tenants as we have.
